HOW WE WORK / 04
The standard is clarity.
The point is not to predict every outcome. It is to make each argument understandable, grounded, and open to revision.
Show the basis.
When writing about external claims, we aim to identify the original source, distinguish independent evidence from vendor statements, and make material limits visible.
Separate fact from judgment.
We distinguish observed developments from hypotheses, analysis, forecasts, and editorial opinion. Confidence should reflect what the evidence can support.
Say what is unknown.
New models and systems can perform differently across contexts. We avoid treating a demonstration or benchmark as proof of universal performance.
Keep improving the record.
Material factual errors should be corrected with an appropriate note. Perspectives may evolve as new information becomes available.
Disclose material interests.
Sponsored relationships, affiliate arrangements, and other relevant interests should be labeled if introduced. This initial publication does not claim paid editorial partnerships.
Humans own the judgment.
Technology can assist research, drafting, or production, but the publication remains responsible for checking assertions and making editorial decisions.
